We had a baby. Wow what a journey!

We had a baby. Everyone said it was fast (8 hrs) and a smooth labor. It was the most intense experience of my life and I gotta say it was a really good birth. We are in a bubble at home going on 2 weeks, Ben gets out to play basketball (which is great) and were bonding. She is settling more every day and gaining weight. When she cries, it's heartbreaking. Our midwife's post birth care has been awesome. We feel well supported and were totally overwhelmed the 1st week. I was blind-sided by the exhaustion and not wanting to relate to people, even the ones I love. At the end of the second week, we are finding our way as parents. We'll post more of the details later.
